Q1 2021 Performance of Top Business Finance Apps on iOS in Europe

In the first quarter of 2021, Europe saw notable activity in the Business Finance & Business Solutions category on the iOS platform. Data from Sensor Tower offers a detailed look into the performance of the top apps within this sector.

Invoice2go: Easy Invoice Maker showed a steady revenue trend, peaking at around $58K in late February before dipping to $42K towards the end of March. Downloads began at just over 3K and saw a decline to 1.8K, while weekly active users started at 2.9K and decreased to 2.3K by the end of the quarter.

Intuit Inc.'s QuickBooks Self-Employed also experienced a revenue peak in late February, hitting approximately $40K, and ended the quarter at around $29K. The app's downloads decreased from 2.1K to 1.7K, and weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 7.2K to 6.6K.

Another Intuit Inc. app, QuickBooks Accounting, had a similar revenue trajectory with a peak at around $32K. Downloads for this app ranged from 2.3K to 2.1K, and active users saw an increase from 19.7K to 21.1K, showing a positive trend in user engagement.

BILLDU LTD's Invoice Maker, Estimate Billdu showed fluctuating revenue, with a peak at $15.7K and ending the quarter at around $12.5K. Downloads started at 1.3K and dropped to just under 1.2K, while active users began at 1.7K and reduced to 1.8K.

Lastly, Xero Accounting from Xero Ltd witnessed its highest revenue at the start of the quarter at $5K and ended March with a slight increase to $4.8K. Downloads for Xero Accounting started at 1.2K, peaked at 2K in mid-January, and then settled back to 1.4K. Active users remained relatively stable, with an initial 12.5K increasing to 13.2K by the end of the quarter.
